Thankyou To ZANE

A message from our food distribution manager in Harare:

With the new year well and truly underway, I just wanted to look back on last year.

Leading up to Christmas there is always a mad scramble to collect gifts of food and other items and make sure that all donors who have pledged food products are still willing to do so. Last year, like every other year, our donors stood by us and we were able to provide some extra Christmas treats along with our normal weekly delivery of fresh vegetables, eggs and even some meat.

Our heartfelt thanks to the growers small and large who keep growing the vegetables we need and continue to deliver them to us at discounted prices. Our thanks also to the individuals and companies who donated the extra items – these made a huge difference to each lonely, elderly person and helped to brighten up their Christmas.

I take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the ZANE fundraising teams across the world for their dedication and support throughout last year and going forward into this new year – you do not know what it means to us on the ground in Zim to know how much you care. I think it’s your driving force that spurs us on.

What a privilege it is working for you. I hope your Christmas was truly blessed and we look forward to carrying on the good work in 2021.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to giving our pensioners a better quality of life and lift the pressure of money worries which is very debilitating emotionally.
