Day 9

We are now on our first rest day, having completed day 8, and half of the Munda Biddi trail. Yesterday’s ride was made special by Richard Yates and Clive Webb-Martin joining us for the day.

Tomorrow we start the Cape to Cape MTB race for the next 4 days which will cover 183kms and 3900m of climbing. I am really nervous as I have put on at least 4 kgs which I am blaming on Jens cooking and I will now have to deal with up those hills!!!

Mike and I feel that our last 8 days will stand us in good stead to reach the finish.

I have included some photos of One tree bridge which the Old settlers used to cross the river, and a link to donate.
