The guys completed their 1000km bike ride in a time of 1003.7 km in 49h 21mins.
They climbed 7217 meters over a period of 8.5 days and rode the entire distance without a break day at all. Very commendable for two old bullets.
Hats off to Mark Johnson and Alan Crundall on an outstanding performance for the good of charity.
The final ride was done with our hostess Julie Mackenzie from Munduberra where we spent a couple of nights at the end. Thanks for the lovely hospitality Julie and Blade! Great to catch up. The lads were ably assisted by Julia Crundall who did the first gilly run, followed by Warwick Hodgson who completed the back half.
We saw some great sights, had some great laughs and met some weird and wonderful people along the way. Stats recorded below on the less physical side are per rider.
