Tour Day 30 munda biddi trial cycle ride

Day 30

The weather gods had decided that this last ride, would be our wettest ride yet, from Mandurah to Mullaloo Beach, Perth. The distance ridden was 103km, the actual ride time was 4hrs 22min, at an average speed of 23.78km/h. The final peloton was Charlie, myself, and Paul, joined on the way, by Mike and Vic.

I have many thoughts and discoveries during this ride. The first is that I have missed out so much, on really discovering the joy of adventure and nature. Reconnecting to old friends and making new ones.

The hardest part was making the decision to do this and then declaring it.

What I then discovered was, that all my thoughts on why I couldn’t do this were just thoughts and not based in reality.

I have been so moved by the willingness of people to make a difference and their generosity with time and or money.

Thank you all for your contributions in messages, sharing and donations!

This has all been for a very worthy cause & I will let you know the final total, as I know there are some people who were waiting for me to complete the full ride.

The final distance that I rode was 2033km.
