Easter Appeal

Dear Friend of ZANE,

While we are all, quite rightly, focused on the terrible events in Ukraine and, of course, as we work out how to live with covid, it is often difficult to keep in mind the suffering elderly folk of Zimbabwe. It is hard to imagine, living as we do, in a place that has a free universal health service and social security, that the folk in Zimbabwe can find themselves ill or injured with no access to medical treatment and, often, not even to adequate food and shelter.

Without help from ZANE, many of these pensioners who have lived and worked in Zimbabwe all their lives, would die frightening and lonely deaths far from family or friends.

However, thanks to our wonderful donors, ZANE is able to come alongside these old people, visit them and support them and ensure that their declining years are as comfortable as possible and that they know they are loved.

For this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We ask you to spread the word about the work that ZANE does, encourage others to join the band of friends of ZANE and continue to support the amazing teams on the ground in Zimbabwe who work with such dedication and care for the elderly beneficiaries. Every dollar you give goes directly to where is it most needed.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to giving our pensioners a better quality of life and lift the pressure of money worries which is very debilitating emotionally.
