Thank you 2025

Dear Friend of ZANE,

As we reach the end of the financial year in Australia, we would like to take this opportunity of thanking our wonderful team of volunteer office holders and, more especially, our growing band of friends and donors – without your commitment, we would not be able to make any contribution at all to the amazing work that is carried out day to day in our beloved Zimbabwe.

As the country deals with yet another round of spiralling inflation, along with desperate shortages of food and medicine, not to mention power cuts and lack of water, the situation is so dire that the work of ZANE is more desperately needed than ever before as the exhausted people of Zimbabwe struggle to find a way of surviving.

It can seem an overwhelming task to find enough money to keep ZANE’s work going in such difficult circumstances, but this last year has shown how each small amount raised can be brought together to make an enormous difference to the folk who receive it.

Letters Received

Many of our donors write short notes with their donations and the following is typical of the feelings with which people give to ZANE:

I am the child of missionaries – we lived in Rhodesia and Zambia from 1962 to 1970. My heart breaks for the country and the pensioners left with nothing and nowhere to go.

The following is a letter from one of our beneficiaries:

I have been writing to you in my mind, in my heart and on paper. I truly thank God for the work and love you have for the elderly here in Zimbabwe.

Through ZANE, the emotions which prompt our wonderful donors to give are shared directly with those left behind in Zimbabwe. We thank you all and encourage you to keep walking with us.

In order to keep costs down, we ask you to share these leaflets with any friends or family you think might be interested.

Please donate to support pensioners struggling to survive in Zimbabwe

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to giving our pensioners a better quality of life and lift the pressure of money worries which is very debilitating emotionally.
