The Work and Walk Continue

The Walk: From 1-15 September 2025

This autumn, my wife, Jane, and I, along with our dog, Moses, will again be taking a long walk for ZANE, this time 117 miles along the Kent coast.

As the situation in Zimbabwe continues to deteriorate, our commitment to those struggling to survive in Zimbabwe remains absolute. That is why we, alongside our dog Moses, are embarking on another sponsored walk for ZANE.

We walk because ZANE remains the only lifeline for many of the old, the hungry and the sick. We walk to help the most vulnerable and marginalised people in Zimbabwe; we walk to support those who have nowhere else to turn but ZANE. We walk because the work, and therefore the walk, must continue.

Life in Zimbabwe is a gruelling battle for survival. There is no material healthcare; no social services to rely on; inflation remains rampant as the cost of living escalates further. Coupled with power cuts, water shortages and failing infrastructure, life in Zimbabwe for the poor is relentless and exhausting.

We walk because your donations and messages of support inspire us to continue. If you can, please sponsor our ZANE walk. Your kindness and generosity save lives. It also sends a message of hope.

Please consider sponsoring Tom and Jane through ZANE Australia and find out more about the walk here:

By supporting ZANE you are letting the vulnerable know they are not forgotten. We see them. We hear them. With your help and encouragement, we walk to provide food, medicine, shelter, compassion and dignity.

Thank you.
Tom Benyon OBE

Please donate to support pensioners struggling to survive in Zimbabwe

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to giving our pensioners a better quality of life and lift the pressure of money worries which is very debilitating emotionally.
