Reports coming out of Zimbabwe are showing yet again how difficult things continue to be for the elderly and vulnerable. With the situation in the country compounded by the drought and high prices, the need for help has never been greater.
If you are already a donor to ZANE, we thank you. If you would like to sign up as a donor and help alleviate some of the suffering in our beloved Zim, please follow the link below:

Anna V
Anna V. is so happy with the help she receives from us and never stops thanking me. In addition to the normal deliveries, we have now organised for Anna to have good multifocal glasses so that she is safe when she walks on the busy roads to do her weekly shopping. This has been very exciting for her.
Sheila B
Sheila B. is living in her own home but is anxious about the state of her home and her inability to afford any repairs or maintenance. She feels old and tired and said everything she owns is in the same state, with all her electrical appliances breaking down, roof leaking and needing repair.
This is always so sad to see – she has worked hard all her life, saved her money but lost everything because of the state of affairs in the country – while the help we give her makes the difference to day-to-day survival, it does not help with major maintenance and repairs. She might be better off selling her house for whatever she can get and moving into a care home.
Jenny M
Jenny M. came into the office to do her brother, Grant who was born with cerebral palsy. For many years, Jenny has been supporting her brother and paying his medical shortfalls.
However, this is becoming very difficult as Jenny is now 78 and still working, but fears this will soon come to an end. We will have to discuss this situation at our next meeting as the situation is not sustainable.
