We have bush camped for the last 8 nights on the trot. David Livingstone is the only man in history who has bush camped for longer. Famously, Bear Grylls once tried 8 nights straight camping but had to abort because he felt sick and ran out of clean underwear.

This blog is coming to you from a bush camp about 5 km past the village of Ngwale which is on the map, but only just. Night-apes sound like they are being murdered in the trees all around us. We hear them at every bush camp. I am blogging with my foot in a bucket, but more of that also later.

ZANE would like to share how difficult life is for the elderly they support – without regular visits from the ZANE carers, many would have no way of surviving.
